The Thrills

Ben is a founding member of multi-platinum and award winning Irish pop group The Thrills. The band celebrates 3 top 10 albums and 7 top 40 singles. They have toured extensively worldwide and collaborated and toured with artists such as The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, U2, REM, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Morrissey, Oasis, Beck, Pixies, Maroon 5, Van Dyke Parks, James Burton (guitarist to Elvis Presley), Ronnie Wood, Bob Geldof, Gomez and producers Dave Sardy and Tony Hoffer.

The band have also been nominated for numerous awards, including the prestigious Mercury Music Prize. In 2003, after tremendous critical acclaim, their album So Much For The City was rated as the No. 2 Album of the Year by The New York Times. Music by the band has also been widely featured in film and television including on hit US Television series The OC, on which they also appeared, and Private Practice.

The Thrills ceased actively performing as a group in May 2008.
